IMO, Rescue Organizations should have the dogs altered before they go into new homes. Each organization than should incorporate that cost into the cost of the animal when sold. Even if someone were to buy an animal from a Rescue Group that was not already altered, they *could* turn around and still breed it anyway, thinking they will make more money on the puppies produced, than what the Organization is willing to pay them back. Any Rescue Organization should have nothing to do with anyones animal that is not ociated with their group. It's just plain none of their business. I have no problem with education about the over-population of dogs, but they have no right to tell anyone what they can and can't do with their own property. I get the idea that someone could pick up a dog on the street and then claim they will spay or castrate when they get money for doing so, BUT, it just plain won't work. That's my honest opinion, if I'm even understanding your question correctly. You are right, they can dump the dog and go out and buy drugs or whatever.

Diabettes? The reason I ask is because I have been feeling thirsty, and having some symtom of the illness. I visited my friend (who is a diabetic) yesterday to asked her to check my blood for high sugar levels with her tester, she did, and my sugar levels in my blood was 121, my friend said that was good being that I don't take medication for it, and being that I had eaten food already that day. Well being that you were an athlete im sure you have some kind of self-control and to lower you eating habits in such a drastic way its going to take every bit of self control. One way to help is to not have so much high calorie food at home and not to have as much food at home period so that there wont be a lot accessible. You would have to go to the grocery store more but then you wouldn't have as much to always get your hands on. You could also find some kind of hobby or activity to keep your mind off eating, like taking a cl at a community college, volunteering or some other kind of activity. When you get the urge to binge eat you could go take a walk or something else like that.

I wouldn't sweat it. If she really was upset about it or had no interest then she wouldn't have said yes in the first place. If you've gone out with her before then she has somewhat interest in you. The reason she probably said that to your friend was because most girls like to be asked to prom in a "cute" and "original" way as opposed to just straight up being asked. She probably would have preferred for you to have asked her in a different way that wouldn't have been as awkward from what it sounds like. UConn - no problem, you have great credentials as far as extra extracurriculars etc. GPA is pretty good, especially for your cles, but BU is a really hard school to get into, and you will probably need to raise your SAT scores to have a better chance. I wouldn't say that you're shooting out of your league, though. you're on a great track considering you're a junior. you might want to look into taking some SAT IIs if you haven't already, because some colleges want them (BU can't make up their mind, sometimes they strongly recommend you take them, other years they aren't required) Get in and talk to your guidance counselor (you didn't say how big your school is) and quickly go over what you're interested in and what you should do to stay on that path. guidance will be swamped with college apps for seniors, so you're going to want to go in ASAP and only bother them for a few min. At least you'll have a more accurate vision of where you are and where you should go, and you should develop a better relationship with your guidance counselor (who will have to write you a recommendation for college). While you are there, ask if your school has a program called Naviance, which shows the scores and GPAs of students who applied to certain colleges. It's a better indicator because it shows just the stats for your school. good luck :)

7 days late, 2 hpt - and 2 test from dr. office -?

I am a mother of two, so you would think i'd have this pregnancy stuff down. I am 7 days late, always on time. 2 HPT's bfn and 2 test from dr. bfn also. I used morning urine, and with previous preg hpt was bfp after af missed for 5 days. No symptoms, usually dont start having symptoms til 7/8 wks preg. But I have had normal premenstral cramping since before I was due to start, no af though. This was not planned we are getting married in three months. We arent disgusted if we are, just unexpected. I know all I can do is wait it out but im anxious now, each preg has always been easily detected. Oh, no stress, dont take meds, no weight gain or loss so rules out other obvious reason for af missed/late. Am I pregnant or will af arrive? Anyone else in this boat?

We have a 1998 Plymouth Grand Voyager thats service light has been on for a little while ocasionally the car will stumble when shifting gears this is not a constant thing though and we have no stalling problems. Marijuana changed my brain chemistry from one use?

A few weeks ago I made a mistake by smoking marijuana for the first time. I believe it was called purple haze...big mistake. I got a huge panic attack and felt extremely weightless, light headed, and freaked the hell out!!!! I couldn't feel anything...It felt like i was having a seizure! I used to have them but they are controlled now. So lately, I've been getting head nudges, electric shonock feeling in head, nausea, vomiting. I recently got sick with travels diarrhea...but it seems like it's getting better with the navanic my doctor put me on. I also take ranitidine, carafate, and trileptol. This morning the same happened to me again! I felt very light headed and started vomiting. I couldn't sit down!! I kept pacing back and forth in my apartment!! I had to shower and really force myself to relax!! Even now I'm still getting this weightless, light headed nausea feeling. Please people, I could really use some help if anyone wants to help me. My doctor keeps thinking it's panic attacks but I know it has to be something else! This isn't going away and it's hard for me to live my life this way. I'm a 19 year old male and I've had brain surgery in the past also because of a brain tumor....however, I had a CT scan after the marijuana incident and it came out fine. Idk what damage it did to me..When i stare at something...certain colors strobe in my right eye (A little flashy)....This wasn't happening before the marijuana incident. Why is President-elect Obama's selection of Christian Rick Warren to deliver prayer causing controversy ?

Rev. Rick Warren's choice to deliver a prayer for the inauguration seems appropriate to me. He seems to be a very sincere man, who has written an excellent book, "The Purpose Driven Life," He has made good sermons about not being overly concerned with materialism in contrast to the prosperity ministry. Surely people will recognize as a Christian he would likely invoke Jesus' name. Cannot people separate acts of policy and a simple prayer? Would not such a watered down prayer be lacking? Society is tolerate of many things such as dirty t.v. shows and movies, cannot the same be exercised in an important formal occasion?

i'm afraid because i lived near a store that has a clown as a mascot. every time we'd go shopping he'd talk to my mom and me. i told him to please just go away. he didn't. he pursued me relentlessly. one day i stabbed him with my pocket knife and he punched me in the chest. after that i was a little scared. then after they got a different clown to be the mascot, he bugged me every day i went. one day he said, 'i hear your gonna be 7" i said yeah and tried to leave but he said, "i'll come to your brithday party for free" i said no, my mom said no too because she doesn't accept free services, he was pissed, he screamed and yelled and chased us to our car. his name was crinkles. after that i worked out constantly and trained in the art of Mo Tai so i could destroy any clown i saw. i saw one but i tried to walk away from it, he said, "hello want a balloon?" i said leave me alone, he said, "Awww, such a sourpuss aren't we?" I unleashed, beating it till he was unrecognizale as a clown. i would have killed him but the cops came and i ran. i felt amazing after that. another clown came up to me and i tried once again to leave. i didn't try too hard though, he wouldn't let me go, so we fought. he was good but not as good as me. we were both bloody and beaten. he died at the hospital. i was taken in and because of my age i was put into a mental institution till i was 21 or cured of my "violent coulrophobic tendencies" i'm 15 now, six more years of rage building against them. my only connection to the outside is my laptop. i can't talk to anyone else in here because i hate stupidity. oh well that's my story. i hate to be the first clown i meet out there.

Sharp pain under right , help!?

Today I had this really sharp pain abput two inches or so under my right that lasted for maybe a little under a minute. A while later, about 7 hours later I get this pain again. It hurts! Is my Mom going to die from cancer?

My mom was diagnosed with a very progressive stage 3 cancer in 2004 and again 1 & 1/2 yrs later in the second . She had a mesectomy both times and did chemo and radiation the first time but when the 2nd diagnosis came chemo made her too sick to continue and she quit all treatments. Now it's 2008 and she has random problems like rashes and l bleeding even though she is past menopause. Now she has abnormal ekg's and she currently is sick with bronchitis and says her lungs hurt when she breathes. I am scared that she is going to get some other kind of cancer and p away. I get very depressed when she gets sick because I always think the worse case senerio. Can someone please tell me how cancer patients actually die or what they die from?

Hillary unfortunately didn't learn from her husband Bill. During his initial run Bill Clinton was in broken citys, poor towns, middle cl school houses, talking to US. He didn't care much about what opinion polls said, he wanted to embrace the people. Obama simulated that as best he could personally and got away with it. I've lived in both the middle cl, as well as the poor sectors, and many in the middle cl segregate themselves as different or better than those in the poor sectors (thus black on black crime is common), but Obama dosen't connect with the poor, or just getting by at all. Hillary allowed mouthpieces to tell her what was best to say. Hillary didn't seem firm on some points that she obviously made mistakes about in the past, when all it would've took is a 'Hey, I'm human... I did the best I could with what I had'. Then there was either the lie, or mistake when everything should've been her issues, what she could do for the economy, her studies on iran or something. Bickering like children over what she did or didn't do for days was incredibly childish. And lastly the Preacher response was pretty good intitally, then drop it. A +opk means that your body sent out the LH surge which is suppose to trigger your egg to be released (ovulation). If you got a +opk then there is a very good chance that your egg is going to be released in the next 12-36 hours. It is possible to have a LH surge and then not have your egg released but unless you have reason to believe that you have fertility issues don't stress about that. You should BD the night you get the surge or the next night at the latest. Here is what my OB "prescribed" to my husband and I. We start BD on CD 11 and do so every other night until I get a +OPK. We BD that night and the next. Then we skip a night and BD once more the following night for "good measure". It is possible to get a LH surge, not ovulate, get another LH surge a few days later and ovulate so we keep BD every other night from CD11 through CD24 to make sure there will be sperm present no matter when the egg is released. I agree with the article. I would like to add that the misconception is due to a poor common definition of atheism. Many people and even dictionaries define atheism as a denial of God's existence. Different definitions can lead to different conclusions - agnosticism is a middle ground. When I hear people define Atheism as a denial, I always correct them politely. I explain that a-theism means not a theist. People seem to be open to the explanation. However, there is still pressure not to define themselves as such. There is a very big stigma with that term. Many people also equate atheism with anti-theism, which it is not. So when I openingly say "I'm an atheist" I always add "but I'm respect freedom of religion and very open to the idea that a deity could exist." People tend to appreciate the added information and it make them feel less defensive or attacked.

Why does the government wait years to execute death row inmates?

Housing these inmates costs thousands of additional dollars to us, the taxpayers. These inmates are scheduled to be executed anyway, so why delay the process - in the meantime charging society hundreds of thousands of dollars? The estimated time a death row inmate spends in jail is 10 years before being executed. Sounds like too long to me. As for the appeals, I believe they should only get one. Sure, a few of them may be innocent, but the verdict has been sealed. Society makes mistakes. There are thousands of innocent people in jail right now, but we don't let them all out for the benefit of the doubt. They have been convicted, and they are serving the time. Likewise, there will always be a couple of innocent death row inmates, but as I said, society will ALWAYS make mistakes. Having said that, it's unnecessary and rather costly to keep thousands of inmates for a period of ten years - when they will clearly reach the same fate regardless of time.

Take it from someone who was labled "gifted" in Florida public schools and had to start homeschooling after middle school because the schools were holding me back from reaching my potential. Women saying they like to feel small and protected generally doesn't have anything to do with their proactivity. Personally, I am very independent but i like to feel small compared to my boyfriend simply because why would a woman want a guy to be smaller than her? I would say with women it's mostly a physical thing not because they feel weak.

I just put it an amp and sub and new HU into my car. The HU has outputs specifically for the sub as well as setting for the sub on it. well i got 3 fish on my b-day i had my fish tank set up and set the Temperature and de-polluted the water with aqua-safe from tetra Aqua water conditioner and fed them tetra aqua tropical fish flakes and makes them urinate and do less feces and 1 week later they are growing white stuff on their gills and the food will grow a clear- whitish layer over it i changed it 50% but i was recommended 100% and im not sure if it will help and i had 2 of them die. Jay Cutler, even though he is in Chicago now, still has the strongest arm in the league and is going to get the ball in the end zone. You obviously have a surplus of running backs; no problems there. You might even want to consider trading a few to upgrade your defense- the Redskins aren't bad but especially since you regret picking White you might be able to improve in that category. Steve Smith is one of the best, and Vincent Jackson will most likely be a fantasy stud this year as he's been prone to breaking out. We're in the same boat here, seeing as how our teams are very similar and well-rounded. Being In My College Band Next Year?

I go to a HBCU and im a Freshman..I play clarinet but did not decide to join the band because at the school i go to they are known for HAZING. When you are a new member you have to go through a process called crossing, where you have a choice to cross or dont cross. If you do decide to cross you have to go through these "holes" where they use a paddle and Haze you. If you dont cross your still a member of the band but people treat you like crap..you dont have to get beat but people will think you are soft because you did not cross. Im going to join my sopre year in college, but i dont think im going to "cross" Its pointless and its not going to get me anywhere in life. Im still going to have respect for myself and i dont care what other people say about me. So i just want to know should i cross or not? Hi i have some serious anger and hate issues infact its gotten so much that my chest hurts constantly. I came here to america in 2nd grade and went to school in the south I was originally from (arab country) ever since then I always felt like I was looked down upon and usually treated badly made fun off and even looked down upon by teachers it got bad in middle school but real bad in high school. I was treated real badly like humiliated on daily basis I mean throw into lockers shoes thrown at me in the locker room had my back pack put in a toilet with poop in there in the middle of jogging in gym i would have been slapped in the face by some one, made fun of in large groups. repeatedly made fun off hared in all ways punched in back of neck on bus treated like in worse manners i didnt have any friends I felt worthless and like second cl trash, looked down upon that feeling is terribe if you felt it, was crying on the inside and hated evangelicals for their trash and hypocricy in their manipulated religion which any one in right mind can disprove and for listening to trash in church about my people being bad ppl and implementing on me and listening to trash zionist media here in USA about my people I hated southerners especially for stupidness, backwardness and racists, i cant say americans because I dont like to put all americans like this bc i know there are good ones. i hated everyone and everything even myself for taking crap so long i contemplated going back but I grow up here unfortunately but i am still thinking about going back after college either way after high school and I felt that My feelings would go away but infact It did for a little bit i majored in premed so i can be a doctor and get respect and more importantly to help ppl but feelings came back alot more stronger in past few yrs with more vigor my chest hurts constantly I sleep alot so i dont think about it and my productivity is low i dropped out this semester in college because of this my hatred is at a very high level and anger. I'd say the Midnight Dark Angel would be the easiest to do on short notice. Just wear any black skirt, ripped black tights and a sparkly top. Then all you would need would be dark intricate makeup, trust me its really easy to do so don't worry. :D For the wings what I did was get a hanger, bend it into the shape you want and pull tights over them, in any color (i used pink and black, it was cool :D) then just tie the two wings together with black ribbon and make shoulder things to keep them on. You can get black ribbon anywhere so yay!! I hope this was useful to you :P

My boyfriend is 25 and I am 18. We've been together for seven months. I know this doesn't seem like a long time... no, rephrase. I know this ISN'T a long time to be together, but my relationship problems go beyond your typical ones. I am autistic. It's nothing dramatic, it's called Asberger's Syndrome and it's probably the most mild form of autism. However, it affects how my mind deals with relationships and people, including my current relationship with my sweetheart. Before him I hadn't had a relationship over three months. He was pretty much the same as me except for he had one relationship that lasted eight months. I live with a wacky family whose constant pushing and prodding about children and marriage drive me to the brink of my sanity. It's a miracle he's been able to deal with and even embrace them for the last few months. However, I can't help but long for him to propose and it's driving me insane. I think, however, my problem lies in my troubles developing and maintaining a functional relationship and my psychological countdown and dread to OUR eight-month anniversary. It seems to be steering me towards a desperation to get married. I know the obvious answer is WAIT until we've been together long enough to seriously consider marriage and even wait until I've received at least my BA, but my nervousa is constantly breaking me down and making me wonder if the minor problems we face in our relationship could escalate into the fiasco that destroyed his last eight-month relationship. I know I should trust that he loves me enough to talk to me if something was wrong, but my supply of faith has been exhausted. I feel as though in a marathon and I am ready to give up because of some sort of genetic defect. We both love each other very much and for the first time it's not the juvenile swept-off-my-feet “in” love feeling. It's steady and... mature-feeling. It's the feeling of being happy because he succeeds or knowing what to do brighten his day. His simply being there changes my entire day. We have both caused hurt and pain for the other, but are somehow still together and I enjoy our time together. We never actually have to do something to have fun. It's just us. I just wish I could be more laid back and not worry about eight-month markers, marriage, or kids. Is this normal? I agree, with the age of text messaging kids have forgotten not only how to spell, but also the meaning of words. We need to read to our children and correct them whenever possible. What is more appauling to me is that it is our younger generation which seems more apt to the morphing. Let's hope that an English teacher makes a difference to a high percentage of students and again, if you have children read to/with them!
