Is it too much to ask of my mom for 15 - 20 minutes of privacy in the bathroom a day?

besides talking to her (which isnt working) try moving all of the things she uses from your bathroom to the one down the hallway. Also try putting putty in the lock hole (it will jam the gears) remove all the bobby pins and screwdrivers lol.
