Battling pokemon starters?

My question has a couple things to it first where can i battle starters not just ones from pokemon platinum but from the other games and battle them where theyll be added to my pokedex so i can trade for them on gts 2nd if you battle pokemon not in your pokedex online does your pokedex add them and finally can you catch hooh and lugia in soulsilver
