Am i ovulating??? pain in my left side..?

I am on my 2nd pack of the pill.. Have been experiencing pain on my left hand side and alot of mucus.. Just wondering if you think I am ovulating?? I've heard it can happen sometimes when you are on the pill?? I have bn having without a condom and just taking birth control regulary.. Is it possilbe to ovulate whilst on the pill and thus get pregnant??
